Ben Whitehouse

Born to Anglo-Japanese hippy parents, Ben rejected pottery and brown rice and got a job in advertising. Starting out as a researcher to the likes of Jonathan Glazer, Ivan Zacharias and Daniel Barber on over 400 TV spots, he gained an invaluable insight to how directors at the top of their game work. During this time he began shooting his own projects before quickly picking up commissions for E4, KFC and Nokia where his penchant for character driven humour, quirky narratives and visual comedy began to emerge.

These days, Ben is all about taking great ideas, however absurd, and bringing out the underlying emotion in a way that really connects with the audience. That and making it look real sweet. And it's paying off. Since joining Agile in late 2010 Ben‘s highly collaborative approach has lead to him delivering some great work including hit campaigns for Lynx, B&Q and Giffgaff.
