Aoife McArdle

Aoife grew up in Omagh, Northern ireland before moving to london to develop her career as a filmmaker. Since moving here, she has won 2 Clios, a Lion in Cannes and an award at The Art Director's Club in Paris for Best Commercial.

Her music video 'The Isles' for Little Comets won the award for Best Music Video at Rushes Soho Shorts 2011 along with nominations for Best Indie Video and Best Editing at the 2011 UK MVAs. Her most recent music video for Clock Opera has been critically acclaimed and hugely popular online.

Throughout her work she demonstrates a beautifully cinematic, intimate style. She is equally at home directing both naturalistic narrative and comedy.
