Little Comets 'Joanna'
'Joanna' is Aoife McArdle's captivating follow up to 'The Isles' for Little Comets. Taking in one long, heady day in the parallel lives of real British girls, Joanna is part music video, part social experiment.
Hundreds of Joannas were tracked down around the UK and trawled though by Aoife and a small production team looking for the most interesting participants.
The ensuing week long documentary style shoot aimed to capture a moving, evocative look at these girls' varied experiences. Aoife wanted to show each of the girls individual vitality and their sometimes striking similarities juxtaposed against their varied environments.
