Nintendo 'DS Girl'

The idea was to shoot a documentary about a normal girl who becomes immersed in her Nintendo DS having been given it as a present.

Finding the girl was the first challenge - it had to be a real life character, not an actor, and so an extensive search was needed before we found Charlotte, the heroine of the piece.

Following Charlotte for a week, we encountered her boyfriend, friends and family, as she used the DS to play games, compete over brain training, and even host a dinner party.

Produced by Igor Degtiarev and directed by Lucy Cash, this series was a big hit for the DS, helping to take them to a new audience.
