BBC 'Wizard of Dogz'

This delightful homage to the classic film came from an idea from Saint RKCR Y&R, who wanted to promote the search for Toto as part of the Andrew Lloyd-Webber show 'Over the Rainbow'.

Directors Liam O'Connor and Cassiano Prado worked with the agency creatives to develop a script. Art director Lauren Nikrooz and her team created hand made sets, backdrops and costumes over a frantic two week pre-production period, and then we had the mother of all challenges: complete nearly 60 shots in two days. With an all animal cast. Luckily the old maxim 'never work with children or animals' was dispelled as our well behaved cats and dogs proved the consummate professionals.

Back at Agile, co-director Cassiano Prado completed the post-production wizardry to bring the story to life, adding special effects in keeping with the original. The piece was a huge success, and was featured heavily on blogs including Its Nice That and The Daily What.
